Air and ground transportation to Rosario

Rosario is located 300 km NW of Buenos Aires. Rosario's International Airport (Fisherton) is only served by some international carriers but the city is easily reached from Buenos Aires by domestic flights or by ground transportation. Most of the travelers will arrive to Buenos Aires's International Airport (Ministro Pistarini - Ezeiza) but there are no flights from Ezeiza to Rosario. Those interested in flying to Rosario should transfer to Buenos Aires's Metropolitan Airport (Jorge Newbery). There are regular shuttle services providing this transfer (it takes about 70 minutes). Please note that there are only a few daily flights connecting Buenos Aires and Rosario.

Door to door ground transportation from Ezeiza International Airport to Rosario has been arranged. This sevice will be provided by buses at the cost of 25 USD (the trip takes approximately 4 hours). This service will be also provided for the return trip to Ezeiza on Wednesday 27th with a stop at Jorge Newbery Airport for those participants departing from this airport or for those staying in Buenos Aires City. A reservation is required to take the Conference bus.

Members of the Local Organizing Committee, clearly identified, will be at Ezeiza International Airport to guide all participant who have made a bus reservation to the loading zones.

If you do not use the service offered by the Conference there are companies providing the transfer with regular departures to Rosario approximately every 2 hours (click here to open a table of departure times). You will find their desks at the airport hall after clearing customs.

For those arriving to Rosario's International Airport, ground transportation to downtown is provided by limo (car with driver called remis) and shuttle services. Please note that some hotels include transportation from Rosario's International Airport in their rates (for information on this subject contact the Conference Secretariat).
